The first anniversary of the Benefit Gala Against Colon Cancer was held at SugarCity's de Middenfabriek. The distinctive factory hall was transformed into a gala dinner venue for the evening. The long tables were arranged in a fan shape around the stage. During dinner, guests were treated to performances by Cirque du Soleil and Edsilia Rombley, among others. During the auction, led by Alexander Pechthold, €85,000 was raised for the fight against colon cancer. The foundation presented a check for €50,000 to the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital. Dr. Verwaal of HIPEC Group Netherlands also received a check for €25,000. In short, it was a successful charity gala with a great outcome and high-profile entertainment.
