During the SBS6 annual presentation, the plans for the various SBS channels were announced: SBS6, Net5, Veronica, S1TV. The big news of the evening was the announcement that Nick & Simon have signed a long-term contract with SBS. Together with Jeroen van Koningsbrugge and Dennis van de Ven, they will be making a second season of Lekker Nederlands. They will also get their own traditional Dutch Friday evening show. In addition, it was announced that the Internet channel S1TV has been launched and that Arie Boomsma's move to Net5 is final; he will present the adventure series The Island. From the end of November, the Veronica channel will have a comedy evening on Fridays, which will include the new season of The Big Bang Theory.
