Vereniging Het Verschil (VHV) was founded on 16 September 2008 and consists of 30 members. VHV aims to make a valuable and sustainable contribution to our society. Once every two years they select a charity for which they actively raise money by organizing actions and events, such as the Boksgala.
This year, Vereniging de Verschil returned to SugarCity for the Boksgala. It was the anniversary edition, where many old boxers were present. This year, money was collected for De Depressie Vereniging (depression association). The participants who entered the ring for charity, had no experience with boxing. That is why the participants trained intensively for five months to be in top condition.
The guests were welcomed as VIP guests in the Middenfabriek. They are the spectators, acquaintances, but also the sponsors of the boxers in the ring. The center of the evening were of course the fights. In addition, there was time for a luxurious dinner in between rounds. The evening ended with the honoring of the winner, who went home with a big trophy. Following the ceremony, the Depressie Vereniging received the collected money.
