World of Dinos at SugarFactory

World of Dinos chooses SugarFactory as venue for Europe’s largest traveling dinosaur exhibition.

Amsterdam – 17 July 2024 – World of Dinos is excited to announce its selection of SugarFactory as the new venue for its highly anticipated upcoming event. This collaboration promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for dinosaur enthusiasts of all ages.

World of Dinos has captivated audiences across the country with its lifelike dinosaur displays, interactive exhibits and educational activities. With over 60 animatronic dinosaurs, including favourites like a roaring T-Rex and the lightning-fast Velociraptor, visitors are transported back to the prehistoric era, providing a fun and educational adventure for families and dinosaur fans alike. Come face to face with giant dinosaurs displayed in custom-made settings. Not only the size of the models is realistic, many dinosaurs also move and make sound. This creates an intense visitor experience that impresses. There are also interactive zones where visitors can engage in hands-on activities including fossil digging and a scavenger hunt.

SugarFactory, known for its versatile spaces is the perfect backdrop for this extraordinary exhibition. Located a stone’s throw from Amsterdam, SugarFactory is renowned for hosting a variety of high-profile events. Offering a variety of spaces, very high ceilings, huge authentic boilers, brick walls and industrial pillars as well as historic kettles the venue provides a raw and unique setting  which will enhance the immersive experience that World of Dinos is famous for.

“We are thrilled to bring World of Dinos to such an iconic venue as SugarFactory,” said Suzanne Huisman, Marketing- & Events Manager of World of Dinos. “This partnership allows us to provide an even more spectacular and engaging experience for our visitors. SugarFactory’s unique setting, accessibility by car and public transport as well as one-of-a-kind features align perfectly with our vision of creating an educational and entertaining journey through time.”

Event Details:

More about World of Dinos: World of Dinos has been active on the Dutch market as an educational exhibition since 2018. Usually twice a year, the exhibition opens its doors to parents and children of primary school age. In the Netherlands, the interest in dinosaurs among children and their parents is undiminished. That is why the producers made it even more spectacular.

About SugarFactory: Once Netherlands’ oldest sugar factory, now SugarFactory is an event venue located on the edge of Amsterdam. From 1863 to 1992, the factory processed beets into sugar. One and a half century later, SugarFactory continues to write history with unforgettable events! The venue is ideal for a wide range of events including conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, dance events, award shows, product launches, film shoots and many more. During this event, the entire factory will be dedicated to the World of Dinos. Parking is available on site and the NS train station is right outside the door.
